About the Cushing’s Hub Competition

The popularity of the existing Interactive Clinical Case series on Cushing’s Hub has led to the establishment of the Cushing’s Hub Competition, first launched in 2022.

This initiative gives clinicians, at any stage of their career, an opportunity to share their experience by submitting a clinical scenario on any aspect of Cushing’s syndrome, including the management of co-morbidities.

This year, while any clinical scenario is welcome, submissions that focus on interesting presentations of mild-to-severe hypercortisolaemia, or long-term disease outcomes (including health-related quality of life) are particularly encouraged

At the first stage, entrants are invited to give a brief overview of why their idea for a clinical scenario would be of interest to a wider audience and what they feel the physician community may learn from it.

After evaluation by the Editorial Board, the winning entry will then be developed into a learning module, with full writing, studio, and animation support from the Springer Healthcare team. The successful entrant will participate fully in this process, including the production of a short introductory video (‘piece to camera’) for the final online module.

The Cushing’s Hub Competition has officially closed – the winning entry will be announced in July.
